Karthi has teamed up with Pa Ranjith of Attakathi fame for his next film which was tentatively titled as Kaali. The team came up with an announcement that the film’s title will be finalized on May 25. The shooting of the film has been wrapped up and the post production work is going on in full speed.
The latest update is that the film has been titled as Madras in which Catherine Tresa plays the female lead. The first look of the film was slated to release on May 25, but was postponed due to various reasons.
We hear that the film is set in North Madras and Karthi will be essaying the role of a civilized and educated young man. Madras has music scored by Santhosh Narayanan and produced by S.R. Prabhu of Studio Green.
