Karthi, who is currently working in director Venkat Prabhu's Biriyani, will be seen playing a casanova in the film. Hansika has been roped in to play the female lead while Premgi Amaren will be seen playing an important role. Ramki, Vaibhav Reddy and Sathya will be seen playing supporting roles. The director recently revealed that the story revolves around two childhood friends, played by Karthi and Premgi Amaren and how their actions affect each other. Music has been composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and it marks his 100th film as a music composer. Biriyani is being produced by Studio Green. Karthi has gone through a complete makeover for the film.
