Actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan will appear at 2013 NAB Show in Las Vegas, as part of a panel exploring the topic of the international appeal of Bollywood cinema. The special session commemorate 100 years of Indian cinema, and also will showcase the making of Kamal's spy thriller Vishwaroopam, which was also the first Indian film to use Auro 3D sound technology.
In the discussion, Kamal Haasan will joined by Jeff Kleiser, Board Director of the Visual Effects Society, actress Pooja Kumar, Visual Effects Supervisor Tim McGovern, Visual Effects Supervisor Madhu Sudhanan N., and Ravi Velhal Global Content Policy Strategist from Intel Corporation. Kamal is also likely to receive an award on behalf of the Indian cinema presented by Chris Brown, Executive Vice President, Conventions & Business Operations for the National Association of Broadcasters.
