Kamal Haasan retrospective

To celebrate the 50-year film journey of Kamal Haasan, a three-day festival of Kamal Haasan's films�will be�organised in Delhi from July 2.

The Padma Shri award winner made his debut as a child artiste in the Tamil movie Kalathur Kannamma at�age four. The film, released in August 1959, fetched him the best child artist award.

From an endearing child actor to a celebrated performer, the 55-year-old National-Award-winning actor has played diverse roles in over 200 films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.

The festival will be be inaugurated by the Union Information and Broadcasting minister Ms. Ambika Soni and Kamal Haasan will be the guest of honour.
