Leading Tamil actor Jayam Ravi is on cloud nine after the sensational opening to his latest film, Ponniyin Selvan: 2, directed by ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam. The actor portrays Arunmozhi Varman in the epic historical action adventure film and saw him sharing screen space alongside 'Chiyaan' Vikram, Karthi, Trisha, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sobhita Dhulipala, Aishwarya Lekshmi, among others. With the sequel to the 2021 blockbuster, Ponniyin Selvan: 1, witnessing a strong start in cinemas around the world, Jayam Ravi recently took part in a special fans festival organized for the actor by Galatta Media.
The grand Jayam Ravi fans festival also saw the actor's family members grace the occasion among whom also included the his wife, Aarti. Speaking at the event, the Ponniyin Selvan actor went on to share several memorable moments with his beloved wife during the course of their marriage, including an occasion where he made a cute proposal when they went abroad. Jayam Ravi explained, "I know that she likes flowers. Usually, flowers are sold here in the city at T. Nagar, right? So, when we once went abroad, flowers are sold there in several places because it's the symbol of love. As we were walking, I told her to keep going ahead and in the interim purchased a bunch of flowers for $5 before joining her once again in sightseeing. I then surprised her by giving her the flowers." Shortly after the actor opened up on the cute moment, several fans began requesting a recreation of his proposal to his wife. We then see the couple re-enact the moment from when they were abroad before Jayam Ravi once again takes out a rose and presented it to Aarti, who then goes on to recreate her big surprise reaction.
Jayam Ravi and Aarti also go on to recreate a special moment from their wedding day at the actor's fans festival much to the joy and cheers of the fans, who had gathered to witness him open his heart about his career and personal life.
