Veteran Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff lost his make-up man, Shashi Satam, who has worked with him for nearly four decades. The iconic stylish actor took to his Twitter page on Tuesday to offer his condolences and pay a tribute to him. Sharing a picture of Shashi, Jackie Shroff wrote, "Shashi Dada. Will always be in deepest corner of my Heart. My make up person for 37 years passed away." Soon after, actors Gurmeet Choudhary and Rahul Dev offered their condolences as well, with Jackie replying to one comment saying, "He was my Soul Mate."

Jackie Shroff went on to become a nationwide sensation after his debut in legendary director Subhash Ghai's Hero in 1983. The film, which also had Meenakshi Seshadri as the female lead, went on to become a smashing box office success and was one of the biggest hits that year. Post Hero, Jackie went on to star in films like Ram Lakhan, Khal Nayak, Rangeela, Agni Sakshi and Border to name a notable few box office successes. Jackie's latest release, Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, starring Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in the lead role, premiered on ZeePlex last week as a cross-platform release in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. Directed by Prabhu Deva, the film also has Disha Patani and Randeep Hooda, with Jackie playing an important supporting role.

Known to Tamil cinema fans for starring in Aaranya Kaandam and the 2019 'Thalapathy' Vijay blockbuster, Bigil, Jackie Shroff played the antagonist in the action sports drama, which went on to collect over 200 crores at the box office. As for his upcoming projects, the veteran actor will be seen next in the Hindi horror-comedy Phone Bhoot, which includes Siddhant Chaturvedi, Katrina Kaif and Ishaan Khatter in the lead roles.
