Popular Telugu singer and Indian Idol 9 fame LV Revanth got engaged to Anvitha in an intimate engagement ceremony on Friday, December 24. The joyous news was announced on social media by the singer, who also posted several photos with his to-be bride from the ceremony. Taking to Instagram, Revanth wrote, ''Happily engaged!! 24•12•21.'' The couple is seen in traditional attire for the engagement ceremony as congratulatory messages and wishes pour in from celebrities and fans. Revanth gained prominence among fans and those in the film industry alike after he came in successful in several reality singing competitions and shows. His biggest moment of triumph was when he emerged as the winner of the nationwide music reality show Indian Idol 9 in 2016-17 and has since garnered a huge fan following in the Telugu film industry. To date, he has sung more than 200 songs in Telugu, while also lending his voice in Kannada, Tamil, and Hindi films as well. Some of his most notable hits include 'Amba Dari', 'Baby Aa Popula Dabba', 'Cell Song, 'Chiranjeeva', 'Premey', 'Vasthunna Baba', 'I Just Love You Baby', 'Okka Kshanam', 'Manohari', 'Nee Kosam', 'Telisiney Na Nuvvey', 'Oopiri Aaguthunnadhey', including 'Verrekiddam' in Whistle (Telugu version of 'Verithanam' in Vijay's Bigil).
