Harikrishna's birthday today
Actor and Telugu Desam Party leader Nandamuri Harikrishna, the third son of Telugu Desam Party founder-president Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR), celebrated his 55th birthday at his Hotel Ahwanam, Hyderabad today on September 2. TDP functionaries and fans gathered at the venue greeted birthday wishes to Harikrishna.
During the birthday celebrations, Harikrishna clarified that Balakrishna, his sons Kalyanram and popular actor N.T. Rama Rao a.k.a Junior NTR will come into politics to achieve the goals of late NTR. He further said he would be acting in message-oriented films for the sake of TDP. He recalled his career as car driver to his dad's Chaitanya Ratham and how he faced many a hurdle in politics.
Harikrishna, who filed nomination papers as a candidate from Telugu Desam Party and won the elections to Rajya Sabha in this year, played hero in many films like Seetaiah, Tiger Harischandra Prasad and Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo. He attracted the audiences with his inimitable style of action.
He was awarded honorary doctorate by the American Institute of Management of the US at a programme held at Ravindra Bharati in Hyderabad last year.
