Gargi is legal drama film written by Hariharan Raju and Gautham Ramachandran, directed by Gautham Ramachandran and produced by Blacky, Genie & My Left Foot Productions. The film stars Sai Pallavi and Kaali Venkat in the lead role with Aishwarya Lekshmi, R. S. Shivaji, Kavithalaya Krishnan, and Livingston in supporting roles. The film's music is composed by Govind Vasantha with cinematography handled by Sraiyanti and Premkrishna Akkatu and editing done by Shafique Mohamed Ali. 

The film's post-theatrical rights of the film was sold to SonyLIV, while the satellite rights of the film is sold to Kalaignar TV. Now, SonyLIV has taken to its official Twitter handle to announce that the film will be released on their platform soon. Gargi was released theatrically worldwide on 15 July 2022 and received rave reviews from fans and critics alike. They praised the performances delivered by the cast, the script, the direction, and the social message that it sent to its audience.
