Liger is an upcoming sports action film written and directed by Puri Jagannadh. Shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu languages, the film is produced by Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions and by the director himself with Charmme Kaur under the banner of Puri Connects. Vijay Deverakonda stars as the titular MMA fighter boxer alongside Ananya Panday, Ronit Roy, and Ramya Krishna in pivotal roles. American boxing legend Mike Tyson has been reeled in to play an extended cameo, thus marking his acting debut in Indian cinema. Liger is scheduled for a theatrical release on 25 August 2022.

The makers of the film have come forward today (August 3) to announce that the song titled 'Aafat' will be the next song to release from the film. He took to his official Twitter handle, shared an image from the upcoming song along with a caption that read, "Young, wild & carefree!🔥 #Aafat, the new song from #Liger is coming soon. Catch the promo tomorrow at 4PM. Song drops on 5th August, 9AM. #LigerOnAug25th ". Check it out:

From the looks of it, the song appears to be a romantic song but as per the tweet, it could be a fun song since the poster of the song mentions 'young, wild & carefree'. The song's promo will be dropping tomorrow (August 4) at 4 PM while the song itself will drop on August 5 at 9 AM. 

This is the fourth song from the upcoming film. The first to come out was 'The Liger Hunt Theme' which was a power-packed song, then came 'Akdi Pakdi' which opened to great reviews resulting it to viral almost immediately, while the latest song that was released was 'Waat Laga Denge' which also garnered a positive reception from both the fans as well as the general public.
