Ajith Kumar completes 30 years of his journey in the film industry today (August 3) and the fans are celebrating the special occasion on social media. 30 years back, on this day, Ajith appeared in front of the camera for the first time for his debut film, Amaravathi and the star actor has gone through a roller coaster ride filled with highs and lows. Ajith has been an icon of inspiration for lakhs and lakhs of people out there and his many look up to him for his hard work and dedication over these 3 decades. Vignesh Shivan is the director of Ajith Kumar's next film, AK 62 which has got huge expectations among the film buffs.

AK 62 will be produced by Lyca Productions on a grand scale and will have music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The film is expected to showcase Ajith in a refreshing makeover and the fans are eagerly looking forward to this excitingly refreshing combination. AK 62 is believed to go on floors towards the end of this year and further updates are awaited. Ajith is currently busy shooting for his next, AK 61 which is helmed by H Vinoth. The trio of H Vinoth - Ajith Kumar - Boney Kapoor are coming together for the third time with AK 61 after Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai.
