For the first time in India

Shooting for Ayindham Padai, which has Sundar C. in the lead, will begin on May 15, 2008. Actress Khusbu, Sundar's wife, is producing this movie under the banner of Avni Cinemax, which has produced Giri featuring Arjun.

Athithi Chowdry, a newcomer from Mumbai, is the heroine. Sundar C. and she are going to share screen space with Simran, who has a significant role. Nasser and Vivek also have important roles in this movie. Mukesh, Thottanna, Sampath, “Supergood” Laxman, Aryan, Vichchu, Delhi kumar and Aarthi form the supporting cast.

The film has a storyline that is totally different from all earlier Sundar C. movies. And there is one more speciality in this film. This film has a chase scene which will be shot by a special 1000-frame camera (used mostly in Hollywood) rented from Hollywood. This will be the first film in India to use a 1000-frames camera for a scene. The camera has been rented for 10 days on a daily rental of Rs. 1.25 lakhs per day.

D. Shankar is the cameraman; Imaan composes music; Na. Muthukumar pens the lyrics for all the songs; Senthilkumar writes the dialogues; Badri, who directs this movie, has written the story and screenplay as well.

After the success of Thalainagaram, Veerappu, and Sandai, Sundar C. has established himself as one of the frontline actors in Tamil film industry. This movie is slated to give his career a fillip.
