Ficus Entertainments Inc. to screen Arundhati in U.S.A.
Ficus Entertainments Inc. has acquired the screening rights for Anushka-starrer Arundhati in the U.S.A. Directed by Kodi Rama Krishna and produced by Shyam Prasad Reddy, this heroine-oriented film�has Anushka in a double role. Arundhati tells the story of a princess from the Nawabi era and a girl from the present century.
The film, which was released in Andhra Pradesh and throughout India, has been well-received by the audience for the story value as well as the superb graphics. Critics have given the film the thumbs up for the screenplay, performances and the technically brilliant graphics.
Shyam Prasad Reddy, who gave graphically rich films like Ammoru to Telugu audiences, introducing them to the concept of a graphically-enhanced film, has spared no expense for this film. Three years in the making, the budget of Arundhati is rumoured to have crossed Rs. 10 crores.
Ficus, which released the Nagarjuna starrer King, plans to release Arundhati in a grand way in the U.S.A. on January 23rd.
