Feb 12: Clash of the titans
This Maha Shivrathri will witness one of the biggest clashes at the box office in Sandalwood. Late Kannada star Vishnuvardhan's Aptha Rakshaka will compete with the much-awaited Crazy Kutumba starring Ramesh Arvind.
Crazy Kutumba, produced by Ravi Joshi (Ramesh Aravind's brother-in-law) is a comedy with human emotions and a message to the children of today.�Late Kannada superstar Vishnuvardhan's 200th film Aptha Rakshaka is one of the most-awaited films of the year. Reportedly, this is�the costliest Kannada film ever made.
Aptha Rakshaka, the sequel of Apthamitra (which was remade in Tamil as Chandramukhi with superstar Rajinikanth in the lead), is directed by P. Vasu and Gurukiran has scored the music. The film stars Dr. Vishnuvardhana, Vimala Raman, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, Bhavana, Sandhya, Komal Kumar, Srinivasamurthy, Avinash and others. The producer is Krishna Prajwal.
