Young composer Dharan, who earlier composed for 2 films, Parijatham and Sivi, did not make it big, as both the movies fizzled out! However, Dharan is all smiles now, as his song for STR's Diwali release Podaa Podi, have become chartbusters! The song Hare Rama Hare Krishna, has been well received by the audience, and this as well as the other songs, are acting as major promotions for Podaa Podi! Dharan is happy that his efforts for this movie have paid off, and we are sure that he will only be bettering himself in his future movies!

Podaa Podi, directed by Vignesh Shivan, also marks the debut of Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, actor and MLA R. Sarathkumar's daughter! Get set for some STR style celebration, this Diwali!
