The highly anticipated and much awaited trailer of Dhanush's Jagame Thandhiram has been released and it looks absolutely exciting. The trailer sets the bar high and makes you more curious to watch the film. Dhanush, as the ORIGINAL GANGSTER, Suruli, is the highlight of Jagame Thandhiram's trailer and his wacky character is sure to impress the masses. While we saw Dhanush in an intense character in Karnan, Jagame Thandhiram turns out to be exactly the opposite of that. Dhanush shows good variations and it looks like Suruli is going to be another gangster that we are going to love, after Kokki Kumar.

Through this trailer, we also get to see a glimpse of other characters like James Cosmo, Joju George, Kalaiyarasan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and others. Action choreography seems to be one of the major exciting aspects of Jagame Thandhiram and from what we see in the trailer, the stunts look exciting. Karthik Subbaraj is back to his favourite genre - gangster action drama and it is going to be interesting to see what he has in store for the audience this time. We already saw a glimpse of his mettle in the genre in Jigarthanda, but Jagame Thandhiram will be a full fledged gangster action drama.

Looking at the trailer, one can just not avoid feeling a little worried about the digital release. Jagame Thandhiram seems to be a potential theatrical film and some of the shots that we see in the trailer would've appealed on a different level had we watched it in a theatre. However, we will now have to compromise for digital viewing on our television or laptop, or mobile screens. The trailer has been packed in an intriguing manner and it delivers the purpose effectively. The trailer has already gone viral and we are sure that it is going to clock a few million views on YouTube.

Produced by Sashikanth under the banner of Y Not Studios, Jagame Thandhiram has music composed by Santhosh Narayanan and cinematography handled by Vivek Harshan. Jagame Thandhiram will be releasing on the Netflix platform on June 18 and it will release in more than 190 countries in various languages. Let us hope that the movie strikes a chord with the audience.
