Krithi Shetty is a popular actress who is a part of the Tamil-Telugu bilingual film Custody. It is helmed by the popular director Gautham Vasudev Menon with Naga Chaitanya as the lead. The trailer for the film was released yesterday and has created a huge expectation among people. It will have music composed by Ilayaraja and Yuvan Shankar Raja and has background score by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The actress was also speculated to be a part of Vanangaan directed by Bala known for making critically acclaimed films. The film also had Suriya as the lead but because of some creative differences, Arun Vijay became the lead of the project. It is currently in the shooting process.
Ahead of the release of Custody, actress Krithi Shetty gave an exclusive interview with Galatta media and shared some interesting details about the film and her other projects. When asked about Vanangaan, the actress said “Actually, I shot for the film for 17 days. Unfortunately, now, I couldn’t be a part of the film because I didn’t have dates. For a long time, we had to stop filming. Again when they asked for dates, I had asked for permission and signed another film… actually, I signed a few films. But they exactly wanted these dates again, so I, unfortunately, could not do it. I wanted to work with Bala sir and I am looking forward to working with him in the future."
Krithi Shetty said "it (Vanangaan) was one of my best experiences ever. In my career, This was the best experience. They said there was a creative difference and I think that is what it was. Because, I was on set and I saw the rapport and the love between Bala sir and Suriya sir and the admiration they had towards each other. So, there is no way it can be anything else."
