An obsessed fan of Bengali actress Arunima Ghosh, who had threatened and harassed her for nearly two years, has been arrested by the Kolkata Police. The individual had sent death threats to the popular film and television actress and is also incidentally the third occasion he has been arrested for the same complaint. Arunima had earlier lodged a police complaint after constant threats had come her way from the accused. The man has been identified to be one Mukesh Shaw and was harassing her over a period of two years, investigators said. The man had gone to Arunima's house on Sunday night prompting the actress to file a fresh complaint. Arunima, who was seen in Shororipu 2: Jotugriho, which released during Durga Puja last month, is not the first actress to face such issues from fans. The Hyderabad Police arrested a youth a few days back for attacking and robbing Telugu actress Shalu Chourasiya during her stroll at a park. Kommu Babu, the accused, a film worker hailing from Mahabubnagar district of Telangana, had been living in the Indira Nagar area in Banjara Hills and had earlier served a jail sentence in a separate case. In another incident a few days ago, model turned actress Nikita Dutta, known for her appearances in films like Gold and Kabir Singh, revealed that she had been robbed on the streets of Bandra, Mumbai. She revealed on social media that two men had followed her on a bike, with one of them snatching away her mobile phone.
