Television series are so popular in Hollywood that they spend more money than movies for Game of Thrones, Sherlock among others. The trend has now officially entered into Kollywood with director Balaji Mohan of Maari, Kaadhalil Sothapuvathu Eppadi.

The director is known for making some amazing stories on romantic interludes and he further expands it with As I’m Suffering From Kadhal. The Hot Star web series have a host of familiar faces and it’s got about 10 episodes all released at once. People who have watched them all are already throwing in positive reviews. It should be a new platform for many other directors to follow.
