Jyotika's Ponmagal Vandhal and Keerthy Suresh's Penguin are two of the mainstream Tamil films that were announced to release directly on OTT platform during this lockdown period. Following that, three more new Tamil films have now been announced to have a direct OTT release. Arun Vijay's long delayed action drama, Vaa Deal (directed by Rekka fame Rathina Shiva), Sriya Reddy's Andaava Kanom, and Mummy: Save Me would be the three films that would make it directly to the streaming platforms without having a theatrical release.

Interestingly, all these three films are produced by J.Sathish Kumar of JSK Film Corporation and it looks like he's decided to release all his pending movies on OTT platform. Additionally, Sathish Kumar also revealed that his production company is starting three big league films starring leading stars from Tamil cinema. We can expect announcements about these new projects in the coming days.

For the uninformed, JSK Film Corporation is a reputed production house in Tamil cinema, known for bankrolling films like Paradesi, Thangameenkal, Rummy, Kuttram Kadithal, Taramani, etc. This OTT release news has taken the fans by surprise and has created a good buzz on social media. Get ready to witness Arun Vijay's Vaa Deal and Andaava Kanom very soon on an OTT platform. Check out the official announcement tweet below:
