For the first time, Vishal is teaming up with pretty lass Samantha for an action entertainer Irumbu Thirai. Directed by debutant Mithran, the film has a strong antagonist and the team earlier approached Arya to play the role. Though, he was keen in doing the film, due to date clash he had to let the project go. Now, we hear that Action King Arjun might play the role. Vishal, who has earlier assisted Arjun, considers him as his mentor. Now, that looks like an amazing combination.
