Buzz is that Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan will venture in a yet untitled Tamil film, to be directed by Balakrishnan.
Director Balakrishnan is planning to do his next film which will focus on the relationship between India and Pakistan. Sources state that the director is ready with the basic storyline of the movie .
On talking about his next project, director Balakrishan said, “Today, India has friendly ties with England, which actually colonized us, but we are fighting with Pakistan, which was once a part of our own land. My next movie will talk about it and traverses from Jinnah to Ajmal Kasab.”
On talking about casting Amitabh Bachchan for the film, Balakrishnan said, “I'm in talks with folks close to actor Amitabh Bachchan in order to rope him in for an important character.”
Balakrishnan made his directorial debut through the film Kamaraj, a movie about the life of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister. The director is currently busy with the film titled Mudhalvar Mahatma starring Bollywood actor Anupam Kher in important role. The movie will also be released in Hindi as Welcome Back Gandhi.
