Excitement shot up in last month after it was announced that ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Bollywood superstar Salman Khan are coming together after 18 years for a new film. Last time, the duo collaborated was for the blockbuster, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, co-starring Ajay Devgn and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead roles.

Although not much is known about the Sanjay Leela Bhansali-Salman Khan project, it is reported the film will primarily be a love story with the duo quite excited to be coming back together again. As of now, the Bollywood superstar wrapped up filming on his next film, Bharat, alongside Katrina Kaif with plans for an Eid 2019 release.

Meanwhile, there are now reports doing the rounds stating 'Bollywood Baadshah' Shah Rukh Khan is being eyed for a special role in the upcoming Sanjay Leela Bhansali-Salman Khan film.

It must be noted Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan have been seen previously in films namely Karan Arjun (1995), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega (2001), Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam (2002), Tubelight (2007) and Zero (2018).

The duo set the screens on fire with the peppy "Ishqbaazi" track from Shah Rukh Khan's Zero release last year and the duo’s collaboration for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next film has taken the hype for the film to a whole new level. For now, an official word is awaited from the team for the film, which is expected to come out as an Eid 2020 release.
