Suraj Kumar alias Dhruwan, an upcoming Kannada actor, recently met with a major accident, ahead of his movie debut. According to reports, the actor is an avid biker and when he was travelling on his bike between Ooty and Mysuru. It is said that his two-wheeler collided with a tipper lorry while overtaking a tractor on Saturday. The 14-year-old was rushed to the hospital to get treated and it was reported that the doctors had to amputate his right leg to save his life. This incidents has come as a shock to the South Indian film fraternity as the actor was about to make his big debut with an exciting project. News reports stated that his's right leg has been amputated below the knee and that he is out of danger, showing signs of improvement.
The actor Suraj Kumar is the son of popular film producer SA Srinivas who produced many films from 1970 to 1990. The actor has also worked as an assistant director in Dharshan’s films Airavatha and Tharak. He was to make his debut as an actor in a film titled Ratham (Chariot) and he had also shared the first-look posters of the film on social media. According to reports, the film also has popular Malayalam actress Priya Prakash Varrier playing femal lead. As the actor has faced a major accident and has lost his leg, it is unclear about the state of the project.
