Action-hero Rajasekar in new avatar
Veteran Tollywood actor Rajasekar will sport a different avatar in Marudhani, the dubbed version of the Telugu hit Gorintaku. The movie is about sibling affection (portrayed by Rajasekar and Meera Jasmine). The supporting cast includes Jai Akash, Aarthi Agarwal, Hema Choudhary, Aarthi and Hema Choudhary.
After Prakashraj made Abhiyum Naanum on father-daughter relationship, movies of similar themes targeted for specific audiences are staging a comeback.
Director V.R. Prathap says Marudhani will be an ideal package for family audiences. He hopes that the end product would be as popular as the evergreen Paasam Malar and Mullum Malarum.
Marudhani is expected to hit theatres a week before Diwali.
