Popular Malayalam actor Ajay Kumar, widely known as Guinness Pakru, of 7aum Arivu fame is recently met with an accident on a bridge at Muzhuvangaduchira near the bypass in Thiruvalla while travelling on Monday (April 11). A truck had hit the rear side of the actor’s car and luckily no one, including Guinness Pakru and his driver were hurt.

After overtaking another vehicle in front of it, the truck coming from the opposite direction lost control and hit their car. Pakru was on his way from Thiruvananthapuram to Kochi and commenced on his journey once again after the accident but in another vehicle. The actor stated that nobody was injured in the accident and that he was returning home in the vehicle arranged by the organizers of a program that he had been a part of,

The actor took to his social media handle and shared the news of the accident to his fans and assured everyone that he is fine. On Monday night he posted, “This morning... I met with a car accident in Thiruvalla. Not injured. A lorry coming from the opposite direction crashed out of control... I'm fine…Shivan, who drove my car without giving up courage, called SI Humayun Sir, his friend Matthew Nainan, friend Tiju V, the owner of the twins events, who came home to help in the accident, and thanked me. Thanks to my dear friends.”. The actor also expressed gratitude to the people who were just in time in coming to help him. He also added in his post that he escaped unscathed mainly because he was wearing a seat belt which apparently saved him from an unfortunate event or getting hurt.

Guinness Pakru started off as an impressionist and eventually made his way into filmdom with the 1985 film, Ambili Ammavan. He has got two Guinness records to his name – Guinness World Record for being the shortest actor to play a lead character in a full-length movie Albhutha Dweep which he got in 2008 and a Guinness World Record for being the shortest film-maker in the world for directing Kuttiyum Kolum which he got in 2013.
