We have already reported that Gautham Karthik will be sporting a desi look--clad in a typical white shirt and dhoti--for his action drama Muthuramalingam. In the film, the young hunk will be paired opposite Kathakali girl Catherine Tresa under the direction of Rajadurai. Another highlighting factor is that veteran lyricist Panchu Arunachalam teams up with maestro Ilaiyaraaja almost after two decades in this flick.
Set in Madurai, the film not based on Muthuramalingam Thevar. It is a story of a boy named Muthuramalingam — his trials and tribulations. Now, the young actor is on cloud nine after sharing screen space with veteran star Napolean.
