'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi came up with yet another thunderous performance earlier this year as the villain in 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Master, with the versatile actor currently attached to several big projects. The 96 actor’s line-up includes a number of big Tamil projects like the Kamal Haasan and Fahadh Faasil-starrer Vikram under Lokesh Kanagaraj's direction, the 'Ethiri' segment in Mani Ratnam's anthology Navarasa, Vetri Maaran's Viduthalai, Sun Pictures' tentatively titled VJS 46, late director S. P. Jananathan's Laabam, Vignesh Shivan's Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, Delhi Prasad Deenadayal's Tughlaq Durbar, Seenu Ramasamy's Maamanithan, Venkata Krishna Roghanth's Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir, Kadaisi Vivasayi under Kaaka Muttai fame M. Manikandan's direction, veteran filmmaker R. Sundarrajan's son Deepak Sundarajan directorial debut Annabelle Subramaniam, followed by the multilingual silent film Gandhi Talks, 19(1)(a) opposite Nithya Menen in Malayalam and his Bollywood debut Mumbaikar under cinematographer Santosh Sivan's direction, which incidentally is an official remake of Maanagaram, including serving as the host of the reality cooking show Masterchef Tamil. 

Now, Vijay Sethupathi has revealed that his next big OTT project will be with directors Raj & DK's upcoming web series, which will feature Shahid Kapoor and Raashi Khanna in the lead roles. Speaking to SpotboyE recently, the National Award winner was also queried about appearing in The Family Man season 3, which he clarified by saying that he has not been offered any other series or film with Manoj Bajpayee, but added that he would love to work with the Bollywood actor. 

As of now, Vijay Sethupathi's next is Navarasa, scheduled to premiere on August 6 on Netflix in the 'Ethiri' segment, which will see him share screen space with Prakash Raj, Revathi and Ashok Selvan under Bejoy Nambiar's direction. The 9-episode anthology film is carrying tremendous expectations, with its release date announcement promo released recently fetching a huge response.
