Enjoying the success of his recent release Chashme Baddoor, director David Dhawan is gearing up to direct his son, Varun for the first time ever.

Happy about his son entering Bollywood with a big bang with Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year, David says that he knows that his son will be too busy hear on, but before that he wants to work with him, so he has asked him to take out time for him.

Having done just one film, David feels that Varun has to prove himself. “While my son Rohit is a director, Varun's an actor of the youth and I believe it's the next generation that will take films forward,” says David with confidence.

Varun will soon be seen in his dad’s directorial, Main Tera Hero, produced by Balaji Telefilms. The film is a remake of a South Indian film.

Varun sure has the potential to be a superstar.
