For the past few days, the entire social media and YouTube is abuzz about Vanitha Vijayakumar and the controversies surrounding her. As we know, Vanitha got married to Peter Paul on June 27 and ever since then, there have been numerous controversies. Peter Paul's first wife Elizabeth Helen came into the picture and demanded justice for her children and claimed that she is yet to be legally divorced from Peter. This news took everyone by shock and a lot of people came in support of her. Being a commoner, she was supported by a lot of people in Tamil Nadu and it was evident through her interviews on YouTube. Suriya Devi, a Youtuber rose to fame in this controversy and her videos became viral among the netizens. However, her usage of words and attitude didn't go well with a certain set of people. Condemning Suriya Devi's videos, Vanitha Vijayakumar and her lawyer Sreedhar filed a police complaint last week on the grounds of cyberbullying. People from the film industry like producer Ravindar Chandrasekaran, Lakshmy Ramakrishnan, Kasthuri Shankar came out in support of Elizabeth. Things got nasty in the last few days when an ugly argument broke out between Vanitha, Lakshmy and Kasthuri. Following that, it now looks like Vanitha's police complaint has seen some development. Suriya Devi was reportedly arrested by the Vadapalani Police Officers for enquiry. She was called for the enquiry yesterday evening, but hasn't returned back home till now. A new video featuring Suriya Devi's two kids is now going viral on social media and in this video, the kids say that the Police came to their house around 6 PM in the evening and took Suriya Devi into their custody.

The video was shot by a lady named Madhu who is supposedly Suriya Devi's neighbour. In this video, the neighborhood girl says, "I got a call at 1 AM midnight from Suriya Devi saying that she's in the police station. They've arrested her saying that they want to enquire her about the case. She called me to ask me to take care of her children and said that they haven't eaten yet. When I went to the Police station to get the house keys, she was surrounded by a lot of people from Vanitha's side. There were so many cars and people and Suriya Devi was there all alone. She told me that the Police are threatening that they'll put her in prison under the Goondas act. She asked me to take care of the children. I might take care of them now but what is going to happen next? The police officers listen only to Vanitha and this is one-sided. I request the people of Tamil Nadu to help and voice their support for Suriya Devi." It looks like Suriya Devi is being investigated by the police about this case. More developments are expected to be known in the next few hours. Stay tuned.
