Broadcasting giant Sun Network has been telecasting a number of popular Tamil serials, and Thendral is one among them airing on their Sun TV channel, with the cast of the show featuring names like Deepak and Sruthi Raj in the lead roles. Thendral has garnered a good fan following, with the show also introducing us to up-and-coming actress Shamili Sukumar, who has since become a darling among the young and the elderly alike. Shamili subsequently made appearances on a number of other Sun TV shows like Bhairavi, Vani Rani, Priyamanavan, Valli to name a few and had since also landed the lead role in the Vijay TV serial Maappillai. 

Apart from her successful stint on television, Shamili Sukumar has also made appearances in notable Tamil films like the G.V. Prakash Kumar-Sri Divya starrer Pencil, released in 2016, followed by Vishnu Vishal's Jeeva. She was seen recently in the Zee Tamil serial, Poove Poochudava, in an important role, with her performance on the show fetching a big response from fans. Shamili is currently starring in the superhit Sun TV serial, Roja, in a character with negative shades, which has garnered her immense popularity. The show's success has catapulted Shamili's fame a notch higher, with the actress now in a video revealing that she is pregnant. 

Shamili Sukumar has now posed a video on her YouTube channel announcing the news to her husband by writing the message in a piece of paper and placing it inside a glass bottle, while capturing his reaction on hearing the joyous news. The actress has since been receiving wishes from fans, with the comments section filled with compliments from several celebrities as well.
