Star Vijay is one of the oldest and leading television channels in Tamil which has got an amazing viewership. The channel holds a special place in the hearts of the Tamil audience for its reality shows which have proved to be a great source of entertainment for the past 15 years. The last few years have been even more better with the popularity of their television serials like Barathi Kannamma, Mouna Ragam and more. Star Vijay network started a channel exclusively for telecast of movies under the name of Vijay Super which was launched in August 2016.

Following that, Star Network is all set to launch their third new channel in Tamil. Yes! Star Vijay Music is going to be the new channel which is all set to be launched on October 4 at the sets of Bigg Boss 4 in the presence of Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan. The fourth season of Bigg Boss Tamil will be starting on October 4 and it is expected to have a record breaking viewership considering the fact that the names of the contestants would be revealed in that episode. With a good hype surrounding that, the makers have decided to launch Star Vijay Music in that special episode.

As the name suggests, this channel will be exclusively dedicated to music and songs, on the lines of Sun Music and Isaiaruvi. This channel could probably be a good treat for music lovers and let us hope that it gets a good reception from the people of Tamil Nadu. We will have to wait for a few more days to know about the programs that would be aired in the music channel. The team is currently said to be working on the new plans for the channel and we can expect more announcements in the coming days.
