Actress Sshivada Nair is a highly popular name among the youth in South India and is known primarily for her acclaimed performance as the antagonist in the romantic thriller Adhe Kangal released in 2017. Hailing from Trichy, the actress made her acting debut in the Malayalam film, Kerala Cafe, in 2009 and has since become a popular name in the Kerala film industry. Sshivada went on to make her Tamil cinema debut in in 2014 in Nedunchalai and followed it up with the fantasy horror film, Zero, and also went on to receive praises for her performances. Now, Sshivada has announced on social media on the occasion of Onam that she had given birth to a baby daughter on July 20, who has been named as Arundhathi.
Sshivada married her longtime beau Murali Krishnan on December 14, 2015, in a small private traditional Kerala-style Hindu wedding ceremony after the two fell in love with each other during their college days. Sshivada was last seen in a cameo role in the blockbuster multi-starrer Malayalam film, Lucifer, which had Mohanlal in the lead role and was directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. As for her upcoming projects in Tamil, she is currently attached to the long-delayed Iravaakaalam opposite SJ Suryah and the Bobby Simha starrer, Vallavanukkum Vallavan, which is reportedly in its post-production stages.
