Slumdog is top dog with 8 Oscars, Pinki also smiles

Party, party, party India! Slumdog Millionaire, a rags-to-riches Indian story with an Indian cast has created history at the Oscars. The movie has emerged as the top dog at the 81st Academy Awards winning 8 Oscars out of 10 nominations. Though The Curious Case of Benjamin Button was supposed to be a potential opponent, Slumdog Millionaire has swept the Oscars winning in all the categories it was nominated in.
