Silambarasan TR is one of the few stars in the Tamil film industry who enjoys a dedicated and ardent fan following, who have stuck with him through the thick and thin during the course of his nearly two decade old film career as a leading hero. Simbu recently stunned fans when he underwent a radical physical transformation by hitting the gym to bring down his weight, with pictures of his new look since then receiving a huge positive response. The flamboyant actor also made a re-entry to social media sometime back, while treating fans to updates on his upcoming films, including sharing pictures of himself on a consistent basis. Likewise, STR has now once again shared pictures from a recent swimming pool photoshoot along with a positive message in the caption. He wrote, "THE BEST PROJECT YOU WILL EVER WORK ON IS YOU", while adding hashtags like "#Atman #SilambarasanTR #STR #SpreadLove #SpreadPositivity #SpreadKindness". Below is his latest tweet:

Simbu has been on a roll of late having completed his upcoming film Eeswaran under Susienthiran's direction in quick time in a span of less than 45 days. The rural action family entertainer announced to come out as a Pongal 2021 release in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam also includes Nidhhi Agerwal playing the female lead, with Bharathiraja, Nandita Swetha and Bala Saravanan in supporting roles, while also featuring music by S. Thaman. An action-packed Eeswaran teaser was released this Diwali by KV Durai & MDM Sharfudden’s D Company banner and showed STR in supreme form, leaving his fans completely floored.

STR is currently in Pondicherry where he is filming director Venkat Prabhu's mass masala political entertainer Maanaadu. Billed to be a mass masala political entertainer, the film is being produced by Suresh Kamatchi's V House Production, with the team already announcing their plans to unveil the film's first look poster soon. A multi-starrer, expectations for Silambarasan TR's Maanaadu have been sky-high since it went into production earlier this year and also includes Kalyani Priyadarshan playing the female lead, followed by SJ Suryah, Karunakaran, Premgi Amaren, Manoj Bharathiraja, Daniel Annie Pope, Y. Gee. Mahendra and veteran directors SA Chandrasekhar and Bharathiraja in major supporting roles, with Yuvan Shankar Raja on board as the composer.

Similarly, Simbu will also be seen in an extended cameo in Hansika's Maha, which incidentally will be his reunion with the popular actress after their Vaalu in 2015. Apart from these ventures, there has also been a strong talk about STR resuming filming for the remake of the hit Kannada film Mufti alongside Gautham Karthik under the Studio Green banner. It was also revealed sometime back that acclaimed director Mysskin had gotten the nod from Silambarasan for a project they will collaborate in the near future.
