Silambarasan TR has left fans stunned with his recent new look as his physical transformation continues to be the talk of the town. The actor made a mass comeback in the recently-released motion poster of his upcoming rural action entertainer, Eeswaran, under Susienthiran's direction. Simbu's looks in the film, including stills from a photoshoot, have garnered quite a lot of attention among fans, who are now excited to once again witness the multi-talented star on the big screen.

As his new look continues to create more buzz, STR's sister Elakkiya took to her Twitter page to pen her views on her brother's physical transformation. She tweeted, "He’s gone through a lot for this transformation. This transformation was not just for losing weight but to know his true self vision purpose and goals . I was with him for few days during this journey and I’ve seen him working so hard towards his goals and hats off 2his willpower". Check out her tweet below:

Simbu's Eeswaran currently being shot at a rapid pace at Dindigul has been announced to be coming out as a Pongal 2021 release and includes Nidhhi Agerwal as the female lead, followed by Bharathiraja and Nandita Swetha in major supporting roles. Being produced by KV Durai & MDM Sharfudden under the D Company banner, the film being presented by Balaji Kappa's Madhav Media will now also be released in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam, featuring music by S. Thaman, who has come on board a Silambarasan TR film after Osthe and Vaalu

Post Eeswaran, Simbu will resume filming Maanaadu in November under Venkat Prabhu's direction, which is being produced under Suresh Kamatchi's V House Productions banner. Touted to be a mass masala political entertainer, the film featuring music by Yuvan Shankar Raja is a multi-starrer and includes names like Kalyani Priyadarshan, SJ Suryah, Bharathiraja, S A Chandrasekhar, Karunakaran, Premgi Amaren among others.

Apart from Eeswaran and Maanaadu, STR will also be seen in an extended cameo in Hansika Motwani's Maha, which wrapped up filming on Friday. Hansika's 50th film, Maha incidentally is a reunion for the actress with Simbu on the big screen after their 2015 film, Vaalu. The Chekka Chivantha Vaanam star also has in the pipeline the highly-anticipated remake of the Kannada film, Mufti, alongside Gautham Karthik, which is being produced under the Studio Green production banner.
