Santhanam's Biskoth released on the festive occasion of Diwali in the theatres and it was one among the first films to have a theatrical release after the pandemic and lockdown. The film opened to mixed reviews from the critics, but the film witnessed quite a decent crowd in its opening weekend. Considering that it was the Diwali weekend, the film had a good opening with the limited scope of 50% occupancy. The film witnessed a good turnover of family audiences and it was a good sign for Tamil cinema's trade after a long time.

Biskoth is currently running in theatres across Tamil Nadu and people who haven't seen the film yet can watch it with necessary precautionary measures. Recently, it was announced that the film’s television satellite and digital streaming rights were acquired by Zee Network. The makers have now released a new comedy scene from the film as a sneak peek and this one is a spoof of a classic scene from Rajamouli’s historical epic, Baahubali. As per the scene, Santhanam is dressed as Baahubali, while Motta Rajendran is dressed as Kattappa.

This is the spoof of the scene that takes place just before the epic climax fight with the Kalakeyas. The film's story revolves around 3 generations where the three individuals played by Santhanam have no relation to each other. The mysteries and correction of mistakes in the past forms the story. Produced by Masala Pix in association with Trident Arts, Biskoth has songs composed by Radhan and background score by Raj Prathap.

The film's cinematography and editing departments are headed by Shanmuga Sundaram and Selva RK respectively. The film features A1 fame Tara Alisha Berry and Swathi Muppala as the female leads while veteran actress Sowcar Janaki plays a vital character. Notably, Biskoth is Janaki's 400th film as an actor.
