Vishal starrer Samar is all to to hit screens on January 13, on the occasion of Pongal after getting postponed due a number of hurdles and controversies. As the film gears up for release, the director informed through his micro-blogging site that Samar will release in about 250 theatres and added that the number might increase. Samar is an action-thriller directed by Thiru, and stars Vishal, Trisha and Sunaina in the lead roles. Music has been composed by Yuvanshankar Raja and produced by T Ramesh under Jaya Balaji Real Media.
