SHOCKING: Young Tamil music director passes away! Condolence messages pour in!

Popular Tamil music director Navin Shanker passed away last night (October 31) and his demise has taken his circle of friends and the industry by deep shock. According to reports, Navin was admitted to a hospital recently after he fell ill. It has also been clarified that his death is not due to Covid 19, but because of other health problems. He had tested negative for Corona virus. 

Popular playback singer and actress Soundarya Bala Nandakumar shared the news through her latest Facebook post. Mourning Navin Shanker's demise, Soundarya wrote, "Rest in peace Saravanan Navin Shanker. I cannot believe I even heard this news. Have always been this super warm person to work with you have supported me and our Yours Shamefully team so much, gone too soon. Rest in peace brother. For people who are worried it is not COVID.".

Cinematographer Sridhar of Pariyerum Perumal fame shared his condolence message on Facebook by writing, "It's disheartening our thambi Saravanan Navin Shanker is no more. It's not coz of Covid. He had some health issues. We'll miss you thambi love you". Similarly, Kanaa Kaanum Kaalangal fame Raghavendran Ravi (Kutti Puli) got emotional about Navin Shanker's unexpected death. An emotionally heartbroken Raghavendran Ravi wrote, "Dai thambi Saravanan Navin Shanker y u left us so soon😭😭😭😭😭...Such a kind hearted person u are can't forget our college days u r such a talented junior in our batch my 1st film memories where I learnt what is sound , where it is to be used properly.. WTF 2020 u are so cruel I miss u alot da thambi another black day of 2020 #RIP".

It is truly shocking to see a very young and budding talent like Navin Shanker losing his life and let us pray for the departed soul to rest in peace. Navin Shanker was a budding composer in Tamil cinema who is known for working in the Tamil film, Visiri. Navin was also signed as the music director for Vimal's upcoming Tamil film, Chozhanattan, directed by Ranjith Kanna. Produced by Hariss Film Production, the film was officially announced on this year's Vinayagar Chathurthi. Navin Shanker was also simultaneously working on various other independent projects as a music director.
