Thalapathy Vijay’s Master is off to a fantastic start at the box office and the shows are running with packed houses. Despite the 50% occupancy, the film has managed to garner solid attention among the people of Tamil Nadu and the family audiences are enjoying the film in theatres. As widely expected, Master has indeed revived the theatre business across the country and all the theatre owners are highly happy about it. Master, which is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, features Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles and their exciting face off was one of the major highlights of the movie. The majority of the audience enjoyed the performances of Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi and the duo played a key role in keeping the movie engaged and entertaining. '

However, at the same time, there were also a few negative reviews about the movie and the reception was mixed among the general public and critics. The film’s director Lokesh Kanagaraj, has now responded to the negative criticisms. Addressing the press and media at Coimbatore, director Lokesh Kanagaraj said, “Be it positive or negative, I take up all the criticisms and work on it in my next set of movies. But I believe, the fans and audience are coming to theatres only because they feel that the movie is good,”. This response from Lokesh Kanagaraj has been garnering attention from the fans and it is indeed good that Lokesh admits that he takes up both positive and negative criticisms.

During the interaction, Lokesh wholeheartedly thanked all the people who visited the theatres to see the movie amidst the pandemic and felt happy about it. When asked if he would be teaming up with Vijay once again, Lokesh said he cannot comment about it right now. Up next, the talented filmmaker will be teaming up with his favourite actor and idol, Kamal Haasan in Vikram, an exciting action thriller. Vikram is produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International and has music scored by Anirudh Ravichander. The same technical team of Master - Sathyan Sooryan (cinematography), Philomin Raj (editing), and Sathees Kumar (art direction) have been roped for Vikram.

The shooting of the film is expected to begin in the next few weeks and the makers are planning to wrap up the film as soon as possible since Kamal Haasan will have to concentrate on his political plans, as well.
