Kamal Haasan in Gokulam Gopalan's next
Veteran businessman cum producer Gokulam Gopalan, who recently made the successful movies Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja, Athishayan and Oru Small Family, has announced his next Malayalam project with Kamal Haasan in the lead.
Speaking to reporters in Kochi, Gopalan said that Kamal Haasan has agreed to act in the proposed film, which has a historic storyline revolving around the story of the great South Indian emperor Tipu Sultan and the lady warrior of North Malabar, Unniarcha.
"Veteran writer John Paul is doing the paperwork and the film will be directed by Vayalar Madhavan Kutty. We expect work on the film to begin this year itself," he added. More details would be announced soon.
