If the reports are to be believed, Ileana has been finalised by director Lingusamy to play the heroine in his Hindi version of his Tamil flick Vettai, starring Arya and Madhavan.
Earlier, it was rumoured that Lingusamy approached Amala Paul and even asked her to keep her dates free. "Several top actors were considered for the role essayed by Amala Paul and Ileana has emerged as one of the frontrunners. She was approached a few days ago and she showed interest in it. She is expected to have a talk with the team soon," a source said.
Ileana is currently in Bangkok for the shooting of a Telugu film directed by Puri Jagannadh and she will be back in India in mid-April. In Vettai remake, Shahid Kapoor will do Arya's role, while Ali Zafar (Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and Tere Bin Laden) will handle the role played by Madhavan in the original. The shooting is expected to commence in Ramoji Fim City by the first week of May.
