Maha Samudram is an upcoming Telugu action film which is directed by Ajay Bhupathi of RX 100 fame. Ajay made his directorial debut with the romantic drama RX 100 which was highly successful, both critically and commercially. He is currently in the process of filming his second film, Maha Samudram which is a multistarrer. The film features Sharwanand and Siddharth in the lead roles. Aditi Rao Hydari and Anu Emmanuel play the female leads. Apart from these 4 stars, the film also features Jagapathi Babu and Rao Ramesh in supporting roles. Produced by Anil Sunkara under the banner of AK Entertainments, Maha Samudram is a bilingual, that is shot in Telugu and Tamil.

The film has music composed by Chaitan Bharadwaj, while the cinematography and editing is done by Raj Thota and Praveen KL respectively. Earlier today (June 26), the makers introduced the villain of the film, Ramachandra Raju. The KGF sensation, Garuda Ram will play one of the villains in Maha Samudram and his character is called Dhanunjay. The makers introduced the character through a new poster featuring him. Garuda Ram's look is menacing and evil and he manages to show the evilness just through his eyes. His performance is going to be one of the highlights of Maha Samudram and his face-off against Siddharth and Sharwanand is going to be exciting to watch on the big screen.

Ramachandra Raju is a popular actor who got his breakthrough after playing the role of Garuda Ram in the blockbuster hit Yash starrer, KGF: Chapter 1, directed by Prashanth Neel. Garuda Ram was recently seen playing one of the antagonists in the Karthi starrer Sulthan which was helmed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan. Up next, Garuda Ram will be seen acting in Jayam Ravi's Jana Gana Mana, directed by I Ahmed.
