Veteran Tamil actor Pandiaraj’s son Prithvi Rajan will soon be seen in the upcoming film Thodraa along with Veena Nandakumar as the female lead under K. Bhagyaraj’s assistant Madhu Raj's direction produced by the JS Apoorva Production banner.

A romantic film at heart, Thodraa is reportedly based on a true story and a single track titled "Bakku Bakku" sung by Simbu was launched on the actor's birthday earlier this month.

That said, Prithvi Rajan during a recent exclusive interview with Galatta, which you can check out here, revealed how acclaimed young filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj stepped forward for Thodraa.

Prithvi Rajan stated the poster of Thodraa was unveiled by Karthik Subbaraj and that the film also includes the Iraivi director’s father Gajaraj playing the role of the heroine’s father. He further added the filmmaker behind Jigarthanda releasing the poster of Thodraa helped quite a lot in getting the word out about the film.

It must be noted Karthik Subbaraj's next film was officially announced today and will feature 'Superstar' Rajinikanth in the lead role under the Sun Pictures banner.
