One film that has been in the waiting for a long time to hit screens is the Dhanush starrer, Enai Noki Paayum Thota, directed by Gautham Menon, after production kicked off in early 2016. A couple of weeks back, a new trailer for ENPT was released, which carried the release date as September 6. Despite the release date announcement and active promotions from director Gautham Menon for the film, there has been considerable debate on whether ENPT would indeed make it to screens considering the legal issues surrounding it have still not been resolved. Apart from the producers of Baahubali, Arka Media Works, filing a petition in the Hyderabad High Court a while back, the film has been shrouded with numerous financial issues for quite sometime now. That said, it is now being reported that Enai Noki Paayum Thota will not be hearing screens tomorrow as announced earlier as no clearance for its release has yet come from the court. The case is still pending and another court hearing will be taking place tomorrow. Furthermore, the pre-release business has not been finished and the film’s release on Saturday (September 7) is still said to be doubtful even if all the payments and court issues are resolved tomorrow.

A new interest for Enai Noki Paayum Thota was revived after the release of its trailer and the subsequent promotion of the various songs from the film. Starring Dhanush and Megha Akash in the lead pair, the film is a romantic action drama which also includes Sasikumar, Senthil Veerasamy among others in important supporting roles and features music by Darbuka Siva. As of now, it remains to be seen when ENPT will make it to screens considering the various issues surrounding it remain to be resolved.
