Dhanush to remake Kannada film Duniya
Dhanush has reportedly acquired the rights of Kannada blockbuster Duniya. The actor�is playing it safe by choosing remakes of successful films. It all started with Yaaradi Nee Mohini; Kutty followed; Ready, Mapillai and Seedan will continue the trend.
Duniya (Kannada), directed by debutant director Soori, was produced by A.T. Lokesh and T.P. Siddaraju starring debutants Vijay and Rashmi with Rangayana Raghu, Kishore and Chandru in very important roles. The film was based on Bangalore's underworld in the backdrop of a love story and with well-shot action sequences.
