Dhanush's Karnan is all set to remade in Telugu. Yes! The critically acclaimed and highly successful Dhanush starrer will be remade in Telugu very soon and the official announcement regarding the project has been made. The remake rights has been procured by popular Telugu producer Bellamkonda Suresh and it will feature his son and actor Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas in the lead role, reprising Dhanush's character. Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas is slowly becoming a promising actor in the Telugu industry and it is going to be interesting to see him in the remake of Karnan.

Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas had played the lead role in Rakshasudu, the Telugu remake of Vishnu Vishal's critically acclaimed blockbuster hit, Ratsasan. The film performed well at the box office and Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas received positive reviews for his performance. The young actor has now taken up yet another Tamil remake and let us see how it turns out. Karnan which released in theatres across the country on April 9, opened to an overwhelming response from the critics and general audience. The 50 % occupancy did not affect the film's box office performance and it turned out to be one of the biggest hits in Dhanush's career. Karnan was directed by Mari Selvaraj who has now become a strong voice in Tamil cinema. His strong political ideologies and thoughts are effectively witnessed through his movies and he has already earned a name for himself in the industry.

The film had music composed by Santhosh Narayanan and his music was one of the biggest strengths of the movie. Dhanush delivered a highly impactful performance as Karnan and it was his strong performance that made the fans connect with the character and its emotions. Produced by Kalaippuli S Thanu under the banner of V Creations, Karnan featured Rajisha Vijayan as the female lead and Natty as the antagonist. Yogi Babu, Lal, Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli, Gouri Kishan played supporting roles in the film. Karnan is expected to release on Amazon Prime Video by next week and the film buffs who could not watch the film in the theatres are looking forward to the movie's digital release.
