Veteran Tamil actor RS Chelladurai passed away on Thursday evening, April 29. According to reports, he was found lying unconscious at his home (in Periyar Nagar, Perambur, Chennai) and reports suggest that he died due to a cardiac arrest. An official word regarding the cause of death is awaited. The final rites will happen today (April 30) afternoon at 2 PM. He was 84 years old when he breathed his last. Chelladurai is widely known for acting in supporting roles in several blockbuster hit Tamil movies and he was majorly used in emotional sequences.

Chelladurai's innocent and emotional performances have always left a solid impact among the audience. Even if it was just for a single scene, Chelladurai had given it all. He will be best remembered by the youth audience for his famous dialogue, "Appadiya Vishayam", in Dhanush's Maari, directed by Balaji Mohan.
