Dhanush’s film with Gautham Menon, which has been titled Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta, was supposd to see a release today, September 6. Unfortunately once again the producers have informed all fans that they will not be able to release the film on the said date. The producers revealed a day prior to the release that it is being pushed and they are “equally if not more disappointed.”

The press release read, "We will not be able to release our film "Enai Nokki Paayum Thota" as slated on the 6th September. We have put in our best efforts to ensure the release of this much awaited film, and we are equally if not more disappointed. We are working on ensuring a smooth release in the next few days. We request for a little more of your patience and ask that you support us and the movie at this point. It's been a journey, no doubt, and we are aware that the delays in the release have put us at the receiving end of a lot of your angst, frustration and comments and we have always taken that in our stride. But then we are so close to delivering, we hope to receive your support and wishes rather than anything else. We believe that the wait will be worth it when you all watch the movie in cinemas soon".
Although no certain reason has been given for the delay, many are stating that the immense financial issues have resulted in a court order. Reports state that the filmmakers are trying their best to release the film next week.
