For the past few days, I have been witnessing many people in the name of my fans who hold placards in public events, political gatherings, and sports events, requesting updates from my next film, Valimai. I am disappointed by those activities. As already stated, news and updates regarding Valimai will be shared at the right time. I and the film's producer (Boney Kapoor) will discuss when and how to share the updates and let you know. Until then, please be patient.

Cinema is just entertainment for you, but it is my profession. The decisions I take are centered towards the development of society and my profession. Our actions will only determine our respect in society. Keeping that in mind, I request my fans to maintain decorum in society. Those who really love me from their heart will realise this. Thanking You, Ajith Kumar". Valimai is Ajith Kumar's next outing after Nerkonda Paarvai and it is directed by H Vinoth. Valimai is produced by Boney Kapoor under the banner of Bayview Projects LLP and has music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
